A Note From The Artist
"I am the writer, creator, and performer of this piece that scares the crap out of me. I think it’s safe to say this is just one of the many things that makes me Sweaty, Bloated, and Stressed. This piece erupted out of frustration and a little bit of fear. It started as a working document on my desktop labelled Sweaty, Bloated, and Stressed, which became the place I went to write whenever I felt… you guessed it: sweaty, bloated, or stressed. Through the past year topics that came up were: how awful it is to fart on an airplane, how when you wear a grey shirt you instantly become the sweatiest person you know, and overall an excessive amount of terror over how much I don’t know. This project has become an examination of the parts of life that seem to be unnecessarily uncomfortable. Examining why that is and seeking the comfort within the uncomfortability. It’s an exploration that dances with uncomfortability, speaks with unknowing, and laughs at all of it.
Stop feeling alone and come join me and get a little Sweaty, Bloated, and Stressed."
